Scheme Aim
The Irish Quality Salmon Scheme is designed to transparently demonstrate the integrity of product and processes used in the production and processing of salmon by participating company members. From farm to table
Salmon from Silverking's farms are sold gutted through the Irish Seafood Producers Group. The salmon are gutted, cleaned, graded according to size and quality and packed in ice at the Fisherman's Co-op in Castletownbere. They are then despatched to customers in Ireland, UK and Europe for retail or further processing.
Further processing includes filletting, smoking and ready meal products. (click here to view some typical salmon products)
